Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy explains what information Boston E-Bikes ("we", "us") collects through bostonebikes.com and when you contact us, and how we use it. Boston E-Bikes is located at 242 Washington Street & 6 Davis Avenue, Brookline, MA 02445.

What this website collects

This website does not have user accounts, does not take payments and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can browse every page without giving us any personal information.

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (GoDaddy) keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.

When you contact us

The call, text and email buttons on this site open your own phone, messaging or email app. The "Send us a question" form also opens your email app; nothing is sent until you press send there. When you call, text or email us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, your bike and what it needs.

We use that information only to answer you, prepare quotes, schedule service, and complete sales and repairs. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with anyone except where needed to complete your order or repair (for example a manufacturer for a warranty claim) or where the law requires it.

Services from other companies

Some parts of this site are provided by other companies, which may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own privacy policies:

• Google Fonts (lettering) and the embedded Google Map on the Visit section.
• Code libraries served by cdnjs (Cloudflare) and unpkg, used for the page animations.
• YouTube and Vimeo, only if you press play on a video.
• Links to Google, Instagram, Facebook, Yelp and the manufacturers' websites take you to those sites, where their policies apply.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you from your calls, texts or emails, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us below. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
