Since 2018, Boston eBikes has been serving cyclists in Greater Boston. What started as one man getting asked about his own converted bike, and seeing if it could be done for others, has grown into a thriving hub for the cycling community.
Our mission is to keep your bike functional and provide a fun, sustainable riding experience for all independent of age, budget and fitness level. We're committed to finding the right solution for everyone who comes through our doors.
Finally, delivery drivers aren’t the only people using electric bikes; we visit Boston E-bikes, a shop dedicated to building e-bikes and converting road bikes into e-bikes.
The extra oomph of an e-bike becomes transformative in numerous scenarios that may discourage regular riding, including muggy weather or a route with steep climbs — “People feel safer on e-bikes because they can keep up more easily with traffic.”
